Pacific Wave – Change of Clearing House
Pacific Wave has changed Clearing House. With effect from 1st July 2011 all enquiries for charter should be directed to Charterport BVI. Both Charter Index and CYA have been updated to show this new information.
Our business has been mainly Virgin Island charters and we have been BVI based year round since 2008. As owner operators we know that being just ‘down the road’ from our new Clearing House will improve response times and communication whenever you have an enquiry for Pacific Wave.
Pacific Wave is very grateful to Karen and the team at Nicholson’s of Newport for their support over the last three years.
We have no doubt that Dick at Charterport BVI will continue to grow our business and support you with any potential charter that you have for Pacific Wave.

Hi,
While the US and Europe still battle through a hard winter, Pacific Wave her guests and crew have been enjoying perfect weather for sailing vacations.
Here in the BVI, away from the high winds and big swells seen further south in the Caribbean at the moment, we have been sailing in protected waters to calm anchorages under bright blue skies.
It’s just one of the reasons why Pacific Wave will stay in the BVI until the end of July.
To encourage your clients to come and share this with us we would like to make you aware of the following BVI special offers:
Price reduction – we are continuing our $1,500 a week discount until the end of July 2011
Diving – we are an enthusiastic dive boat! For 7 night charters in the BVI we offer FREE rendezvous diving with UBS, a very professional dive shop, for bespoke personal accompanied dives and training. See the Terms & Conditions on our website www.sy-pacificwave.com
Spa Treatments – at either Peter Island Resort or Bitter End Yacht Club get FREE pampering at a quality Spa. A free massage or any treatment up to a value of $150 per adult is included in our discounted charter fee
Free Bar – there are no additional bar bills on our BVI charters unless special wines or spirits are requested by special order.
Zoom Zoom Watersports – get very wet with our brand spanking new $25,000 deluxe hard bottom Caribe dinghy and 70 pony strong Yamaha outboard
Pacific Wave – Delivering the Promise
Newsletter #12 - October 1 2010
Hello,
Just to let you know that Pacific Wave and her crew are ‘fighting fit’ and raring to go for the new season. We’ve been busy through the summer in Trinidad doing routine exterior paintwork and interior varnishing, keeping Pacific Wave in that all important ‘tip top’ condition – ready to impress new and repeat charter guests in 2010/11.
During a short break in the UK Lynn scoured the best and most fashionable stores for new bikini’s, luxury Egyptian 600 count cotton linens, 700 gram towels, and lots of new season Molton Brown toiletries. Lynn also refreshed her ‘unlimited area’ ocean theory and astro-navigation. She’s unlikely to put this into practice on passages from Tortola to Peter Island but she can now ‘wow’ guests with her sextant and astrological position fixing. Our guests last season really enjoyed looking at the stars with our electronic star identifier. We are sure they will love learning from Lynn more traditional methods as well. In addition, although we were not required to do so as we were already compliant, we both chose to repeat and update our STCW 95 training. We are both MCA Master 200 ton unlimited area with commercial endorsements and current STCW 95. All in all, we’re on the ball.
Mark also took himself off to work with some very experienced chefs looking for new prize winning dishes. His new finds include: delicious home baked granola; a Panettone and vanilla bread and butter pudding; asparagus, garden peas, & French beans in a creamy risotto topped with grated parmesan and chopped mint; roasted fillet of grouper smeared in a sundried tomato and basil paste wrapped in Parma ham. We are determined to continue our reputation for award winning first class dining.
We splash the boat here in Trinidad mid-October and head directly to a Grenadines charter before going to the BVI show and the USVI show. We are still available for Thanksgiving in the BVI but due to a charter at the end of November you will not see us at the Antigua show this year. Look out for our full advertisement on the back cover of Charter Index Winter 2010 edition, available at the Antigua show. We now have confirmed bookings for Christmas and New Year. We are however still available for Spring Break and Easter 2011 in the BVI.
Regards,
Lynn and Mark
