Take advantage of some of the best diving in the Caribbean. We can arrange a rendezvous dive for you during your holiday onboard Pacific Wave. If you’ve never tried diving before we can arrange a PADI Discover Scuba Dive (DSD) with a local Dive Operator so that you get to dive with hundreds of reef fish during your charter.

What time of year is best to book a charter & when is the best time to travel?

The sooner you book your charter onboard Pacific Wave the more choice of available dates you will have. For peak holiday times like Christmas and New Year it is best to book up 6 months or more in advance.

The Caribbean hurricane season is officially 1st June – 30th November each year; however the peak time for hurricane activity is usually September and October. Pacific Wave remains in the Caribbean year round, and some of the best cruising takes place during the summer period.

Do we get to choose the food that we eat?

Absolutely! You will be issued with a preference sheet, here you confirm what food you like to eat and any allergies you may have. Our award winning chef uses this document to provision Pacific Wave for the week with the food that you like. Typically our cuisine is of a healthy innovative Mediterranean style, which is created using the best fresh fish, meat and locally-grown produce, by people who understand food.

We’re travelling with children will they get bored?

You will be amazed how your children will take to life onboard Pacific Wave. Not only is there the new experience of sailing, but there’s also snorkeling in crystal clear waters, watersports, exploring the islands, and so many different life experiences that will keep the family occupied for hours and hours. The whole family will enjoy this unique prime time alone together away from the modern day distractions and experience quality time together as a family.

What do we need to bring?

You will be amazed at how little you need on a luxury yacht charter. Your linens, towels, and beach towels are provided for you. Molton Brown toiletries are also provided onboard. The Caribbean Islands are very informal with the exemption of one or two restaurants that require a polo shirt and long trousers (we can advise you in advance of these). You do need your bikini and swimming trunks. All snorkeling equipment is provided.

We’ve never sailed before - will we get seasick?

The vast majority of our guests have not sailed before and are amazed that they do not suffer at all at sea. Pacific Wave is a heavy yacht that offers a good sailing motion as she cuts through the waves. Land is in sight at all times as we cruise around the beautiful British Virgin Islands and the Grenadines during the summer months.
